Unite Stratford One is a safe living environment, and all students benefit from 24-hour security with on-site customer service and maintenance teams available if you need advice and assistance. The accommodation is just a short walk from Westfield Stratford City shopping centre.

Loughborough is at the heart of England in the northernmost part of the county of Leicestershire and being centrally placed it is well served by road, rail and air.
Main line road and rail networks link Loughborough directly with the rest of the country, and the town itself is served by excellent bus services.
Loughborough University is less than two miles away from junction 23 of the M1 motorway.
London is one-and-a-half hours away by train, Birmingham one hour and Manchester and Leeds around two hours.
There are regular scheduled flights from UK, European and international destinations to East Midlands Airport, only seven miles away.

PhD studentships are funded doctoral research opportunities for students looking to support and enhance our current research aims. Our purpose-built lecture theatres and seminar rooms are fitted with the highest quality audio and visual equipment to ensure every student can enjoy a truly immersive and stimulating learning experience.
The campus offers a range of versatile workspaces to cater for independent study, group activities and collaborative project work.
We hold over 120 laptops for students to use on campus, including Apple MacBook Pros and Dell Latitude laptops. High-powered CAD computers, a wide format printer and a cutting-edge 3D printer can be found in our Collaborative Project space and are free for students to use, with full training available if required.
Library and resources :
Our stunning library is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and offers access to over 9,000 print items, as well as over 30,000 ejournals and 400,000 ebooks on request.
Students can choose from over 609,000 print items from Loughborough’s Pilkington Library which can be delivered to Loughborough University London for free.
Campus cafe :
Located on the ground floor, the campus cafe offers a selection of Fairtrade teas and coffee, as well as sandwiches, baked goods and snacks. The cafe also sources seasonal fresh produce to create a tasty menu of breakfast and lunch options throughout the year.
You will also find plenty of places to eat and drink on Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park. Whether you’re looking for coffee, brunch or a three course meal, you’ll find plenty on offer across the Park.

Loughborough crowned ‘University of the Year’ at the 2020 WhatUni Student Choice Awards
Loughborough University was named ‘University of the Year’ at the 2020 WhatUni Student Choice Awards (WUSCAs).
The University was also announced as the winner of both the ‘University Facilities’ and ‘Sports and Societies’ categories, having been shortlisted for ten categories in total. Loughborough is also delighted to have received silver in the ‘Job Prospects’ category and bronze in the ‘International’ category.
Altogether, it achieved a fantastic overall rating of 4.58/5, a record-breaking score for the WUSCAs in the seven years that it has taken place.
