Palacký University Olomouc (Univerzita Palackého v Olomouci — UP) is a modern research university with a rich history. Founded in 1573, it is the second-oldest university in the Czechia. UP is one of the few very prestigious Czech universities. In 2023, it has 23,000 students enrolled in eight faculties. UP has been providing higher education for 450 years, contributing to the intellectual enrichment of society via scientific, cultural, and social development.
