St Patrick's Pontifical University, Maynooth
St Patrick’s, Maynooth opened its doors as an educational institution in 1795 as the National Seminary, becoming a Pontifical University in 1896. In the intervening two centuries, it has established for itself an impressive reputation for scholarship and learning. Today, as a Pontifical University, St Patrick’s specializes in the study of theology, philosophy and related areas, in one of the most beautiful campuses in Ireland, and is open to both lay and religious students.

Library: The Library is a key resource for students. A team of dedicated staff provides all students with high-quality service in a friendly and student-centered environment. The e-Book collection and almost 50,000 journals can be accessed by registered students via the web from anywhere in the world.
