The Main Library (HBZ) is the library of the University of Zurich for natural sciences and medicine.
Specialized departments of the HBZ provide services for the entire UZH.
The Main Library represents the UZH in regional and national projects and committees.
Central Library Zurich :
The Zurich Central Library is the cantonal, city and university library of Zurich. With over 6 million documents and more than half a million visitors a year, it is one of the largest Swiss libraries. It is aimed at the general public and at the teaching and research needs of all faculties.
