University Of Lapland – International University Of Sciences And Arts The University of Lapland is the northernmost science and arts university in the European Union. The University of the Arctic trains science and arts in a modern campus area just off the Arctic Circle. All faculties are located on the same campus. Sustainable development and environmental responsibility are important to the University of Lapland: the university is part of the WWF Green Office network. City of Rovaniemi, where University of Lapland is located, is at the Arctic Circle. Due to the location, you can experience the midnight sun in the summer as well as the polar night during winter.

Facilities for Students: In the main building you will find all faculties, diverse teaching and learning facilities, college library, most of administrative services, eight galleries and three restaurants, art galleries or play the piano. In addition, there are various facilities for group work and self-study. Our students have access to these facilities with access keys 24/7. In the design and art fields students can take advantage of our diverse Arctic design laboratories in their studies. We have numerous specialized teaching facilities like studios and laboratories in various fields, editing and recording rooms, ateliers, work halls, workstations, darkroom, IT classes and music classes.
Fees: 8000 Euro per academic year. The fees are applicable to new master’s degree students from outside the EU or EEA countries.
